Tall Guy Bespoke

I have long had an interest in all things made and designed and having studied Engineering at University I then went on to a  have career in Telecoms and Logistics.

About four years ago and just before the birth of my second son I took a huge leap to leave work and become a stay at home father and while this was very fulfilling it did leave me in a quandary as what if anything I could do work wise to provide an income and allow me to have challenges beyond the school run!

I have had a lifelong association to the field sports world and knew all to well that the lucky ones amongst us inherit pieces of family kit, sometimes not in the condition that makes it usable! I also knew that finding someone to repair said kit (or make a new piece) was often difficult and nerve wrecking when handing over a pice that was held dear.

Tall Guy Bespoke was born! I set about learning the skills I needed to repair or replicate loved leather pieces all done by hand in a sympathetic manner and with a view not to be afraid to be honest when a piece was beyond saving or unviable.
